A Guided Tour

To get you started, we recommend you go through this Guided Tour, in the event you have not already done so. It walks you through the various key parts of our system, so that you will have a sense of what each of those parts look like. Given that you have been directed to this page, that means you have already enrolled in the system and therefore you can skip the first four screens and go directly to the screen that says “WELCOME TO UNIEX.”

From there you will see what various sections of your bank account look like, and the things you can do once you have logged on, including sending and receiving the currency, buying more of the currency, and a record of your transfers. That is followed by two options for getting other people to enroll in the system and thereby earn a bonus of 50 units of your currency for each person or organization that joins UNIEX.

The first option entails you doing the enrollment for them, by clicking on the menu option on the left labeled “Enroll Others.”  You then select the account type and fill in the blanks just like you did when you enrolled. You might choose this option when setting up accounts for your kids, you parents, your neighbors, etc. – anyone who would like you to set up the account for them. By using this option, the bank knows that you are the one who setup the account and thus credits your account with the 50 units earned for each completed referral. And the person/organization that you enrolled likewise gets a 50 unit signing bonus placed into their newly created account.

The next option is one in which the person or organization you are recruiting will fill in the signup sheet themselves and they just need to receive a link to the bank signup page. This is accomplished via the menu option labeled “Referral Link.” Note the instructions on that page on how to send the link and earn more units. That referral link contains a unique code associated with your UNIEX account, so when the person or organization follows that link to sign up, the bank will know that you are the one that referred the new user. If you have a personal social network of contacts, this is a great way to earn a bunch of units just by sending them that link and encouraging them to sign up.

Thereafter you will notice two other menu items. The first is labeled “Agent” and this option allows you to facilitate transactions for two other parties, neither of which has a smart phone, tablet, or computer to conduct their own transaction. As an Agent, you would input their account numbers or scan their QR code to setup the exchange. The last menu option allows you to schedule payments from your own account to other recipients, or from others to you.

Next you are introduced to our complementary currency enabled marketplace. It represents the second major place where you can earn additional complementary currency units. And you can do so on the marketplace in two ways. The first is just by listing a good or service on your local marketplace and receive a listing bonus, as described here. The second way is through selling an item, or providing a service, in exchange for receiving complementary currency units for the transaction.
