The Sustainable Communities Foundation (SCFndn) is an Ohio based 501(c)(3) non-profit regional economic development organization.  SCFndn is an offshoot from a previous 501(c)(3) economic development think tank called National Commonwealth Group, Inc. (NCG).

NCG was the primary developer of the entire Sustainable Communities Framework (SCF) concept. Once the concept was developed, it was determined that a 501(c)(4) organization, defined as a Social welfare organization, was more appropriate for deploying the SCF concept. SCFndn is now being led by a highly experienced team of managers and advisors with well over 200 years collective years of experience in establishing and running numerous for-profit and non-profit organizations.
